It happened at Chaos 105 and Zack had seemingly established himself as a “Chaos Wrestler” as it pertained to the Carnage Wrestling website. His first win under his belt with his fellow Left Hand colleague, his next venture, it would be just himself. A Singles match in the Baltimore City Championship Tournament is what awaits him next. Now whoever wins the tournament wins the Baltimore City Championship or the BCC Championship, and that match would be held at the company’s Act of Defiance Pay-Per-View. But before we get to that, let’s go back to Chaos 105 and what happened. Zack had stated that the match was going to be quick and it was. Making the masked Macho Libre tap out and possibly breaking the hand of Sierra Mist, I mean Violent Mist, it hopefully showed Carnage Wrestling and everyone that Zack wasn’t just all talk.
Now we move from that to something that caught his attention and that was the fact that his opponent for this tournament was called “The Avenger”. If it was just his luck, Zack ends up beating masked men (even if it was in a tag match) and now he’s facing another one? Is this an exhibition match for some Comic-Con or something? I’ll tell you what I’ll do to entice you comic book enthusiasts.
Wizard World Virtual Experiences just ended. How’s that for you? But we’re back at the Carnage Arena in Baltimore for another live Chaos and let’s just go to Zack who’s somewhere in the vicinity of the arena to talk about this upcoming match against The Avenger. Here’s what he had to say. Wait, first let me paint you the picture.
[Part.I] Canton Waterfront Park, a place where you can view the harbor and historic scenery which is where all good comic books start at a park, but this one is with a view of the Patapsco River where we find Zack sitting on a picnic table looking at the water on a park bench. As his usual preparations with the lapel microphone, the camera is facing the side of him as he speaks.
“You’re probably wondering why I asked you here and if you’ll look over my Left shoulder, you can see Dypski Park where just not long ago was packed with people dressed as their favorite superhero. Maybe you were here or maybe you were online checking out Ebay for some new accessories but your fellow Avengers were here. Wait, no, sorry you’re The Avenger so you’re everyone all in one, right? Or are you embracing just the founders which are Iron Man, Wasp, Ant Man, Hulk, Thor? Now there’s more Avengers so if you’re talking about them then you’ve got multiple personalities in which you could possibly be a new Avenger.
Then again, you’re not an Avenger because you could be Kevin Wendall Crumb from the movie Split. You’ve seen that one right? Where he has Twenty-Three personalities and thinks he’s a superhero? That’s who you are because you’re not a superhero. You’re a guy who dressed up in a Halloween costume and thinks he’s an Avenger but looks like some guy who likes Green and may or may not have a Green Lantern tattoo and calls himself Tornado or something like that. But let’s look at what you did though and okay, you beat Big E...wait sorry, wrong guy and company. You beat Biggie Easton but he’s not me.
Now maybe you might think that you’re Batman and you see the sign in the sky which means that you’re going to run out and play superhero, but you’re about to run into a super villain that comic books haven’t seen and you haven’t read about me. This isn’t DC Comics versus Marvel or whatever comic books you might’ve read, this isn’t going to last as long as those trilogies or sagas. I’m going to do to you what I should’ve done to Macho Libre and that’s unmask you and carry it around as a trophy, because you and everyone is about to find out that even a superhero can’t stop me from getting what I want.
I told everyone in the beginning that I was going to stop at nothing to get what I want and what did I do? Ask Mist what I did, I broke his hand. Now if I can do that, ask yourself, what am I going to do to you? I could unmask you and then you could do some sort of act like I broke you out of a trance, or should I break your arm? [Zack lets out a sigh]. What should I do with you? If I break all your bones and you end up like that guy from Glass with brittle bones, you’re no use to Carnage Wrestling anymore. If I gouge out your eyes, I’d be ripping off some gimmick thing from that entertainment place which really doesn’t do much for Carnage Wrestling and their ratings except give them a stigma of being a comedy company. So what should I do? I guess you’ll just have to find out when we meet or actually, let’s call that the next edition and I’ll just end this to be continued”.
Zack reaches over with his Right hand and palms the camera lens as the view goes Black and the camera then cuts off.
[Part.II] Hours until the countdown until Chaos 106, Zack Tyler is found inside the Carnage Arena just as he was before where on that night, it was him and William Keen that walked out with a tag team win. That was his first match on Chaos and this night, his second. So going into this match, Zack has a record of 1-0 in a tag match. This match, he’s looking to make that record 2-0 with actually 1-0 being a Singles match win. Not only is this his first Singles match but this is also the first round in the Baltimore City Championship Tournament. It would’ve been great if he was the first match in the tournament so this would’ve been an epic thing to write, but no, that honor goes to William Keen, Zack’s tag team partner from the last Chaos (Chaos 105).
So seeing that we’re in the same building and although Zack’s match isn’t a tag team match, I think it’s time for the same outcome as it was the last time he was here. Now he did say that he wouldn’t break the hand of his opponent but he did say something about another body part. Should he go to the medics and warn them ahead of time so they can be on standby? Nah, let’s just skip ahead to after Zack has put his bags up in his locker room and he’s talking with Deja Ndiaye and not the curtain jerker (that's the first match if you haven’t caught on this time).
[Part.III] The slightly taller Zack speaks with Deja in between a camera and the Chaos logo background I’m guessing in their Chaos promo area or whatever they call it. Zack hasn’t really done that before but, it’s fine. It’s been cold lately so at this time of night, yeah, he’s not doing a promo outside. So as the camera records, Deja has her microphone ready to talk to Zack as the camera starts to record.
Deja: Zack Tyler, tonight begins the Baltimore City Championship Tournament. You will face…
Zack takes a deep sigh as he holds up his hand to stop Deja from talking.
“Deja or is it Dejavu, stop talking and just listen. Tonight, I don’t care who I’m going to face tonight or next week in the tournament. The only thing that matters is at the end, I’m going to be the BCC Champion if I have to break hands, wrists, arms, legs and everything else of everybody I face. You don’t see Macho Libre here tonight do you? That’s because I broke his wrist and his little friend Violent Mist isn’t here either because he’s probably having to help fiend his little masked friend. But who is here? Me! I’m here because that’s what real fighters do. If you’re hurt, you suck it up and fight because that’s who you are. That’s why you’re in this business and not hiding behind a mask.
That turns my attention to you, Masked Avenger or whatever you wanna call yourself. This isn’t some comic book or fairytale, this is the real world and real truth. You want to wear a mask to the ring because you think you’re some altar-ego of a guy in a suit or maybe you’re some reporter who is normal every day of the week but comes here and puts on maybe a cape and flies to the ring on a bungee or runs to the ring with his cape flying in the air like you’re supposed to be flying. I don’t give a damn who you are, after tonight, you can fly your little happy ass back to your cave and lick your wounds and come up with something better than a superhero that kids can look up to. Here’s some truth, I’m Five, Seven (5’7) so all the little brats are going to look up to me and everyone else who’s taller than them. What makes you special? Are you the saying your prayers and eat your vitamins guy?
No, you’re the guy who’s standing in my way of becoming champion and you’re just the first step. I don’t know what management finds funny about putting guys in masks against me lately, but I’m going to rip your mask off and show everyone who you are and then I’m going to mutilate your face so that you’re going to need to wear a mask everywhere you go. You may think this is a game, but this is professional wrestling and not some joke fantasy league you think you can make people laugh and everything is fine. If you want to do that, go to some other places I’ve been and I’m sure you can get work there.
This is Carnage Wrestling for a reason and that’s because they believe in carnage and that’s why I’m here because that’s what I bring with me and that’s what I make happen everywhere I go. And to name a show Chaos? That’s exactly what this company is going to see. Maybe not quite yet because HIS time is still not yet, but when it is, you and everyone will see that the Left Hand is and will always be. So feel free to spread the word to all your little Comic-Con friends and maybe they might come to your rescue, but maybe you can call your friendly Spider-Man to come save you and I’ll dissect him too. Either way you look at tonight, I’m going to show you that this comic book ending isn’t going to end up with the good guy on top. No, this comic book is going to be discontinued.
You can come up with whatever catchphrase you want like stand back there’s a whatever coming through or maybe you’ve got something original, it doesn’t matter what you have to say. What matters is that when our match is over and that bell rings, I’m going to go to the next round in this tournament and then the next one after that and stand on top of this mountain as the BCC Champion”.
Zack gives a hard stare to Deja before walking out of the camera view, leaving her with a blank look on her face as the camera feed ends.
[Part.IV] Now Zack had done his promo for his upcoming match against the residential superhero, but knew it wasn’t time yet for his match or even the show to begin. So he decided to take a walk outside and while out there, get a cigarette break in. While outside, he wasn’t the only one taking a break as were several arena staff, Carnage Wrestling staff as well as some of the talent. Standing against the side of the building with a foot propped up on a cement boulder that was one of several placed around a tree on the sidewalk, Zack reached into his pocket and pulled out a metal Zippo lighter and opened it to light his cigarette.
The wind was calm so Zack struck the lighter and lit his cigarette. As he took a puff, he closed the lighter and placed it back in his pocket. Pulling his cell phone out of his other pocket, he glanced at the time before placing the phone back in his pocket. Looking around and deciding he would take a walk, Zack set off in the direction of the front door to the arena. Before he could get half way down the sidewalk, the crowd of fans that usually engulf the doors have dwindled down to a few stragglers. Aside from the security and maintenance personnel, Zack stood gazing at the LED scrolling marquee in front of the arena as it read “CARNAGE WRESTLING….SOLD OUT”. As the outside temperature showed, the time then showed and Zack turned around to head back to the loading and unloading area where he had just walked from. Finishing his cigarette and placing the cigarette butt in a bucket full of sand outside the arena door, he walked through the open door and towards his room. Inside his room, Zack brushed his teeth (because of the cigarette smoke) and sprayed himself with cologne to mask the smell.
Looking at the television that was mounted to the wall, it was a monitor also of what was happening inside the arena. On the screen was the match that would be before him and he then knew it was his time was soon to happen. So with that, Zack exited his room and walked to the end of the hallway where everyone entered and exited the arena. It was a production staff agent who then ushered Zack into a waiting area (Gorilla position) as the previous match participants walked past him as their match had finished. On multiple monitors and televisions in this room, Zack could see multiple angles of the ring and the massive crowd.
In the ring, Zack listened and watched as the ring announcer gave the introduction of the next match.
