The Dragon Lady walked at a leisurely speed. She held in a hand a double chocolate frappuccino with no caffeine added… so basically just a very extra chocolatey milkshake. She almost looked to be skipping, as she swung open one of the glass doors. She had swung open one of the double glass backdoors that locked CWs back entrance up. The entrance only for the stars that bathed their sweat and blood in the CWs ring.
Her mind is on a bazillion different things. She hadn't noticed. It was completely her fault. She walked right into Seven and Ryker unaware they were on the other side of the glass doors. She would have said, "Oh my goodness! I am so sorry!"
Her eyes stayed on the torsos of the men who are now covered in her chocolatey frappuccino. The Dragon Lady took her sleeve and tried to wipe away the chocolate mess that covered the two in front of her. As she wiped with her sleeve her eyes slowly went up towards the twos eyes…
"Ryker… Seven… well that truly was an accident… guess I don't feel so bad anymore though," she said honestly still trying to wipe stains from their chests as her eyes darted between theirs. Even with who they were, her heart beat which was very frantic at the moment, kept her hands and arms trying to clean the two. If it had been Alex Winter there, well… she probably would have laughed and walked away.
But these two, well, she had never met… at least face to face. She had heard plenty of these two on Twitter though…
“Accidents happen. You didn’t get any on you at all did you?” Ryker asked, ignoring the negative part of her comments. “I don’t blame you for not feeling bad, just know we have our reasons for what we’re doing and have no other way.” Seven says, before looking down at the mess.
Ryker and Seven just take their shirts off and throw them in the trash can about a hundred feet away.
The Dragon Lady's eye brows furrowed as her eyes darted between the two. She reached into a front pocket fumbling for cash. "No seriously. Please let me pay you back for those shirts."
As she pulled crumpled bill's out from her pocket she continued staring. "I don't know what would ever make me consider working with Alex Winter. Must be a terrible job. Why not look for something else? There's plenty of other people who might be willing to pay you… You… you don't feel bad for being on his side?"
"Don't worry about giving us money, we are taking plenty of Alex's or C$J's. Not sure whose money it is but it's one of theirs." Ryker grinned. "We might not agree with what we do, but we just see it as business. It's nothing personal, and we have our reasons for why we do what we do." Seven replies.
"I… I am sorry to have bunched you with Alex… but I mean, if you're with him. You're against me and pretty much everyone else on the roster. Even just business, I think I would lose my mind with him. He already drives me nuts as it is and all I am trying to do is find my chi."
She held the crumpled cash in her hand not putting it away yet. "I hope you're ready. For everyone to turn against you. Despite your motives for being with him, I doubt anyone would understand… not that I am trying to get you to tell me your business or anything. Your business is yours alone. Does he treat you guys better? I mean as you two are on his side and all. Does he treat you better than me at least?"
"Treat us better? Well he hasn't had anyone attack us yet or cheat us out of anything." Ryker shook his head. "Ryker and I are just weapons to him. He doesn't care about us. He found us at our weakest and now we are contracted to him with no way out." Seven just shakes his head.
The Dragon lady thought on this… "No way out? I am sorry I bundled you together with Alex like as if you were friends, but ugh that doesn't seem too nice. I heard about him getting robbed. He makes plenty of enemies. Shouldn't be surprised that happened to him. I just hope you know, like I said, no matter where your conscience is and where you visibly are, everyone's going to look at what's right in front of them. That means no good things are going to be coming your way. I hope he didn't threaten you. And that's why you can't leave his contract…" The Dragon lady stated unsure of how to process all that she's taking in.
Both Ryker and Seven grin when Dragon Lady mentioned about Alex getting robbed. "Alex is his own worse enemy, I don't condone anyone getting robbed, but karma works in mysterious ways." Ryker grins about it. "We both know we're going to be hated, and that we've put ourselves in the firing line of others. We accept that they're just doing what's right for them, like Ryker and I are for us." Seven smiles.
As The Dragon Lady stuffs the crumpled wad of bills back into her pocket she says, "You sort of ignored the question I asked… if he's threatened you. Look you don't need to tell me or anything, but if things ever get bad and you need something. I mean you can call me."
Instead of giving them over cash like they had requested she didn't, she whipped a pen that has been sticking in her ponytail behind her head. She then grabs Rykers hand and puts it into the palm of her left hand. She scribbles her number there.
"You know. Just for emergencies and all. You should probably keep this a secret from Alex. I mean here in the ring… on Twitter I get it if you need to do something bad… well maybe I still don't completely understand, but if you ever need help you can phone me. My way of paying you back since you don't want my cash."
"Thank you, Seven and I appreciate it." Seven nodded in agreement with what Ryker said. "Don't worry, we just do what we're paid to do. We'll try and make sure Alex makes us stay away from touching you." Seven looks at Ryker. "Talking of Alex, we better go, he requested us to meet him." Seven and Ryker hold their fist out offering a fist bump to Dragon Lady.
The Dragon Lady looked at their fists out wondering for a second what she should do… she doesn't fist bump. After a moment she curled a hand into a fist and tapped both their knuckles with hers. "Alrighty. Don't be late on account of me. Wouldn't want you in no trouble because of me. Take care. Sorry again about the shirts."
With that she stepped aside to let them pass. Very tempted to follow them and see where Alex wanted to meet them. However she refrained herself.
Ryker and Seven smile as she tapped their knuckles. "Alex is just lucky he got us stuck in a contract. We're working on getting out of it eventually. See you around." Ryker replies as Seven taps him on the shoulder as they head off.
