Shawn stands outside the front door of the newly established Romeo Management Inc. The former UBW Owner/President and Ultimate champion had decided after revealing the truth to the world about the High Society and Danny Starr, to step away from fighting in the ring himself and just manage talent instead. Tommys body had seen more trauma in the last six months between being beaten nearly to death outside his front door and Ryan Maxem ramming his SUV into the drivers side of Romeos truck right before The One Night Stand that brought the HWA back into the hands of Ron Royalty and the HWA superstars.
From behind the desk the woman spoke out to him. “Do you have an appointment?”
“I do miss my name is Shawn Wylde, Mr Romeo should be expecting me.” Shawn replied timidly.
“Hah Mr. Romeo.” The woman behind the desk chuckled. “Cmon then let’s go see if he’s ready for you. Follow me.” From behind the desk stood a blonde woman who motioned to Shawn to follow them led him down a small hall and tapped on the closed door with “The Chosen One” written on the nameplate. Opening the door and placing one finger in the air to Shawn and walking into the office alone but never fully closing the door.
“Tommy you have someone here to see you. You have to hire a real secretary I don’t know how I’m supposed to write anything if people keep coming in here.” She exclaimed
“I know, I know, I’m sorry Erin as soon as your office is finished we’ll get you in and settled and I’ll hire a real secretary for the front please just be patient. You know that I’m still rebuilding from pretty much nothing here.” Tommy states “You know
I couldn’t have done this without you. Now let’s not keep our guest waiting.”
Erin scoffs at him and opens the door all the way motioning Shawn into the office, then exiting and closing the door behind her.
Shawn is awestruck as every UBW belt hangs from the wall behind Tommy’s desk. Including his own Lightning Championship he had won years before.
“Ahhh Shawn it’s good to see you.” Tommy groans as he stands up from behind his desk and walks around it to greet him, extending has hand and as Shawn reaches out to shake it Tommy grips it and pulls him in to hug him.
“It’s been a long time my friend. I hope you have been well.” Tommy releases Shawn from his grasp.
“I have Tommy I saw what you’ve been through it’s been all over the news. But that’s not why I’m here. I’ve signed a contract with Carnage Wrestling and I need representation.” Shawn says as he takes a seat in one of the chairs in front of Tommy’s Desk.
“Well you’ve come to the right place bud.” Tommy states as he walks back around to the other side of the desk and flops down into his chair.
“Carnage Wrestling eh?” Tommy pulls the feds website up and begins to scroll. “You know usually we represent people before they sign their contracts right?”
“I know Mr Romeo but.” Shawn is cutoff by Tommy mid sentence.
“Tommy. Call me Tommy we have known each other long enough Shawn.” Tommy smiles and looks back down to the computer monitor.
“Well I got super excited to get the offer so I pretty much rushed in and signed on the dotted line. Then I thought about getting an agent. A little out of order I know but I’m here now.” Shawn raises both his eyebrows and shrugs.
“Well you’ve come to the right place Shawn I’ll tell you what how about we go grab some chilli cheese dogs somewhere and talk about the details. Of this contract you signed. I’ll treat I’ll drive you talk. Tommy again groans walking to the office door and opening it.
“ I don’t know about chilli and cheese Tommy but I could eat.” Shawn stands up and scurries through the door down the hall and into the waiting room where Erin Wallace looks up at him, Romeo following a few steps behind.
“We are off to lunch Erin hold all of my calls till I’m back.” Tommy looks back at her and winks, then walks out the glass door followed by Shawn.
Erin stands up behind the desk and starts to shout. “ I’m not you secretary Tommy! I’m your girlfriend! You better bring me back something to eat that’s not a Hot Dog you Mother!” She is cut off by the glass door closing behind them.
