Your Wrestlers Biography:
Tell us a little bit about your wrestler's backstory.
Born in 1988, Josh Woodrum was a lifelong wrestling fan. He saw his first card at age 3 and became an instant Hulk-A-Maniac. Woodrum himself began wrestling at age 16. At age 18 he joined the WWC. Woodrum adopted the gimmick of, “The Machine”. A soulless killer. He joined with his trainer, Dave “No Pain” Wilson and his popular “Team Pain”. The year 2008 was Woodrum’s breakout year. In December of 2007, Woodrum had won a 10-man gauntlet match to become the number one contender to No Pain’s world title. Woodrum though showed no signs of wanting to cash the shot in. Instead, he won both the Television and Las Vegas titles.
Then came June 23rd, 2008. Woodrum was defending both titles against rival Joe Disco when mistimed interference by No Pain cost him the match. The Machine showed signs of emotion for the first time in his career by telling No Pain, that the time had come. July 24th, 2007, two days after Woodrum turned 20 years old, he wrestled No Pain in a Cage Of Death match at the fourth ever WWC PPV event, “Anger and Desire”. The Cage of Death is a barbed wire cage, with glass glued to the turnbuckles. Woodrum, The Machine, pinned No Pain after 40+ minutes to win the WWC World title. He held it for nearly one year before losing it.
Woodrum would win and lose the WWC title several times, a total of 29 reigns. His other notable feuds include, his own brother, Little Jordan, his best friend Cliff Brown and the monster Jason Voorhees. Woodrum’s contract with the WWC ended in 2010. Though he signed a pay per appearance deal. He would finally leave in October of 2010, taking a short break from wrestling and launching his porn empire.
“SeX-treme Entertainment” became the number one porn company in the world. It was in 2011 that Woodrum met Amanda Banxxx and the two became dating.
In the spring of 2011 he focused back onto wrestling, joining a short-lived federation called AEW, where he became the first and only World champion. The fed closed down after just 4 months and Woodrum was wrestling on Indy’s. Then in late 2011 he signed with the AWA. Woodrum made an immediate impact, defeating Bill Barnhart in his first match and ending the career of Cryptic Disturbance not too long after.
Ending CD’s career made Woodrum the focus of Twisted Lethal Steele’s wrath. Woodrum battled Steele for several months, ultimately coming out on the losing end. 2012, however was the true arrival of Josh Woodrum. Woodrum formed “Sex and Violence” with longtime friend Yuji Yoshida and they soon added another member, Ethan Belle.
Ethan, in exchange for 24 hours with Amanda Banxxx, handed over the TV title to Woodrum. Woodrum would go on to have a memorable run, most notable ending John McKeith’s career. He would ultimately be screwed out of the title. But soon he captured the International title. Thus, began his war on the stable known as Carnage.
Woodrum eventually built himself up to become the number one contender to Sergio’s Universal Title, and though he gave a Match of the Year caliber performance, he was ultimately unsuccessful. In a state of despair, and with his personal life beginning to unravel, Woodrum turned to drugs.
A failed promotional partnership with Crystal Rose and her gal pal Tiffany, caused much financial strain on Woodrum’s “seX-treme Ent.” Amanda soon left him, and Woodrum found himself on the brink of destruction. Seeing how close he came to death, Woodrum quit drugs cold turkey and though he was miserable for months, he came out on the bright side.
Woodrum began to train, and appointed a new CEO of “seX-treme Entertainment” though Woodrum has ultimate final say. After 5 months of training Woodrum entered secret negotiations with the AWA, and now, with Amanda Banxxx at his side, and Austin McDanger watching his back, Woodrum hopes to find ultimate redemption.
Woodrum achieved his redemption by defeating Jason Perry to win the Universal title. After winning the title, Woodrum and Amanda found themselves the target of a sick psycho, who taunted them and their friends about their past. Woodrum would drop the Universal title back to Perry and eventually would uncover Gemini Battle as the culprit behind the mind games and attacks that plagued him, Amanda and their friends.
After a short feud with Gemini, Woodrum and Banxxx captured the Tag Team Titles, giving Woodrum the final piece of both the Grand Slam and the Triple Crown. Making him a member of the AWA's elite. Shortly after losing the tag titles, Woodrum took a break from the AWA to heal up nagging injuries and recharge his batteries.
Woodrum returned and had great success until financial troubles led to the AWA’s closure in 2016. Woodrum focused on his porn empire, before returning to the ring in 2017. After brief stays in RSW and a few feds in Japan, Woodrum looks to make this fed his new home.

Entrance Music: (Please consult the Taken Entrance Music thread.)
Bad to the Bone - George Thorogood
Entrance Description:
This is how your wrestler acts as they walk down to the ring for their match. This is meant to be generic, but will help the match writers greatly. For the moment, CW's productions happen in small venues with little to no pyrotechnics or intricate lighting. Please keep this in mind while writing an entrance.
"Bad to the bone" plays, the arena darkens. Orange strobe lights flash through out the arena as the curtain parts and out walks Josh Woodrum wearing his ring gear, with a black and orange "Simple Impressive" T-shirt on.
Woodrum walks to the middle of the ramp, stops surveys the crowd and then holds up both arms in the "rock on" hand sign. He saunters to the apron, jumps up and cockily hops over the ropes and lands in the ring.
He walks to the center of the ring and with great flourish rips off his shirt. He tosses the remains into the crowd and cups his hand to his ear, hitting all four sides of the ring before striking a double bicep pose in the center of the ring. Woodrum climbs the nearest turnbuckle, he flashes another "rock on" hand sign and steps down as his music fades.
