Belle blinks at him. Underground felt like ages ago and as it stood, she barely remembered what she did last week. She blinks again, that's right, she and Zephyr played Uno while watching The OC. The memory brings tears to her eyes and she quickly brushes them away.

"Uhm... Not really. I'm sorry, I've had a lot on my plate lately." She suddenly has an idea and pulls out her phone, opening up a shortcut to a database of her show notes for interviews.

"Was there something specific you were looking for?"

With a sigh Nathaniel shakes his head before continuing on.

"I am sorry your life in Carnage has gotten hectic. How are you holding with everything?"

Belle puts her phone down a moment to take a thoughtful sip of coffee letting the bitter taste wake her up some.

"Barely. I've been operating on what few moments to myself I can get here between checking in with Zephyr's doctors and having Mia ready to snap isn't really helping. I get it though, big sister is worried about little sister."

She shrugs, her weariness showing and picks her phone back up to start scrolling through the database.

"Doing the best I possibly can do I guess."

Her eyes narrow in on her phone as she finds what she's looking for.

"Got it. You said you had a terminal illness that would kill you within five years..." Her eyes go wide as she stops mid sentence. "Oh my god! Was that too blunt! I am so sorry!"

She shakes her head and takes another drink.

"That wasn't blunt at all since it is the truth. Though, the side effects of the tumor cut that time down to by this point around a year. This is the whole reason I even cem back to wrestling in the first place."

Nathaniel chuckles slightly as he grins in amusement at her reaction.

"Thing is though that truth has been buried in the perception that I am evil incarnate. The whole thing with Knox that ended tonight grew out people not listening to what I have had to say."

There is a pause as Nathaniel shakes his head.

"It is true that family can cause the strangest of reactions in people."

Belle smiles and nods, "You're most certainly right about that."

She takes a drink, finishing off the small cup and sighs. "I'm going to need a refill. Or a bigger cup. Maybe both..."

Looking down at the cup she swirls around the remnants of what's left.

"I don't really want to leave the hospital in case, there's news. Can I get you anything from the cafe?"

Nathaniel stares out the door for a few minutes after Belle leaves wondering what he had done to get people coming by to see him. Maybe it was the fact he had been mugged in the ring that had done it. Regardless he wondered where the rest of his stay was heading.
