A/N: Big thanks to Mia for helping with C$J
Stand Apart
I got back from challenging Alex by noon time. My mind is on the little girl Ruby. The advice I gave her I needed to follow as well. I took a deep breath and went into me and Mameha's place feeling ready for just about anything she had in store for me today.
I made a face as I realize, all of our furniture has been moved to make the space larger in the living room. What in the world?
Mameha walked out of the kitchen then, holding a few items in her hands. She looked as elegant as ever, wearing a flowing white robe. She handed me the items in her hands.
I took them and stared at what she handed me. My own robe. And two folding fans? "Go change into the robe for today's lesson. Today, you are going to learn a few things. By dancing with me." This took me aback, and I stared at her equally inquisitive and exhausted. Her gaze remained as wise and warm as ever
"Dancing?"
"Yes. Dancing." She insisted
"But Mameha… I do not feel like dancing. I thought we were going to the gym" I said thinking dancing would not help me right now. I needed to punch and kick something. Practice my wrestling moves. Not dance. Anything but dance.
"You will dance with me if I say we are going to dance. Now, go get dressed."
I nodded my head, not fully understanding why Mameha was making me do this. But she had never steered me wrong before. I shuffled to the bathroom to change, probably looking like a bad kid who didn't want to do something and is frustrated they are still stuck doing it.
After I dressed, I went back to the living room where Mameha sat on her knees with two folding fans of her own sitting just in front of her. A grin is on her face. She patted the floor next to her. "Sit. And lay your folding fans in front of you like so."
She motioned with a hand over the folding fans. I did as she said and sat next to her. She opened her fans up and a design of lilies was there. She would slowly turn them over in her hands showing the back and the front of the fans as she spoke.
"The Japanese folding fan symbolizes many things. To some it's a mere description of beauty. Something exotic. But before these fans meant that, they had another purpose."
She stood motioning with her hands for me to copy her. So I tried to follow her movements. I opened my fans up to see greenery. Things that looked to be growing.
"These fans symbolize me. They symbolize you. They symbolize a person of great class. You must believe that as you move and your body flows, that you are becoming what these fans represent. The best self of you."
She tossed the fan into the air and caught it. I am amazed. I would attempt to do her little trick after getting to my feet only to fail as a fan hits the floor. "Again. Again and again you will do this. Until you believe the words I am saying."
For hours it felt like I could not see the purpose still of this fan folding dance. But each time I tried again, I got a little further. And then a little more. Finally Mameha got back up from her sitting position and joined me.
Both of us moving with elegance and a purpose. I felt good about myself as I nailed each move. I had gotten better. And, well, I'm going to keep getting better. Not just at this, but at everything. I'm going to grow like the greenery on my fans. Grow into the best me.
Someone worthy. Someone confident with everything I do. Someone not to be dismissed or put aside like a nobody. A force to be reckoned with.
Christopher St. James was used to busy days. Being a self made man was tough in today’s day and age. Taking over a small business and turning it into a global market? Child’s play. Right now though, he had plans for Carnage’s title division, specifically the Baltimore City Championship abandoned at WAR by Mac Bane. A knock on his office door tells C$J that his first appointment of the day has arrived, right on time, and just the way he likes it.
C$J: Come in!
Dragon Lady enters, standing in front of her new boss looking unusually timid, like a kid coming to see the principal.
C$J: Dynamite job out there at the supershow, tough loss, but here at Carnage, I like to reward those that show gumption, that show that they have what it takes to move things onto the next level. I saw you out there at WAR and I saw a spark that I think deserves such a reward. So… With that being said, I’d hereby like to invite you into the future. Baltimore needs a champion, someone to take that title to the next level. Of course I can’t just GIVE you the belt, but I’d like you to show the Legion what you have and fight for that strap, fight for THEM...
The Dragon Lady sat down in the chair listening to C$J talk. When he had called her to set up this appointment, she had been very on edge.
Did I do something wrong? Am I in trouble? She twiddled her thumbs as she waited for an explanation. After he spoke, The Dragon Lady was flattered. "Well. I mean. I appreciate the offer. I really do. But. I can't accept this title match yet."
She is a tad disappointed about telling C$J no to the offer. When she joined Carnage, she really hadn't even had titles on her mind. She was looking for something else. And now with the offer on the table, she thinks she would like a title. But not now. Can't be now.
C$J looks stunned for a moment before choosing his words carefully and directly.
C$J: No? You’re… You’re actually telling me “no” after I make you such a generous offer?
C$J scoffs.
C$J: Fine. Whatever. You don’t want my help then you don’t get it.
The Dragon Lady blushes. She's embarrassed. She takes a deep breath before responding. Also choosing her words carefully. "I, well don't get me wrong. I'm flattered you offered me this chance. It's just I already put out a challenge to Alex Winter. And I can't back down from that now. He would think I'm a joke. And I need to send him a message."
She stands and offers her hand out to C$J to shake hands. Not thinking he would take it after this conversation. "Please believe me when I say, this won't be the last time I'm in your office to discuss a title match."
C$J scoffs lightly before returning to whatever it was that he was working on. It looked like a proposal for separate locker rooms for the roster members instead of a coed one.
C$J: We’ll see about that. You just go have your fun with Alex and if I decide that you are deserving of another shot, then sure… We can discuss another title match. And let me be clear…
He holds up his finger to Dragon Lady to emphasize.
C$J: That’s IF I decide that you’re worthy of another shot.
C$J looks again at Dragon Lady’s outstretched hand and begrudgingly shakes it before dismissing her with a wave of his hand.
The Dragon Lady had shook C$Js hand intimidated. Then she was dismissed, closing his door carefully behind her.
I left his office walking slowly out of the building. My mind on this encounter with C$J. Well, if I hadn't been in trouble before I walked into his office, I sure feel like I am now. I feel like I'm on his radar. And I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
One thing is for sure, I need to be my very best in front of him as long as his eyes are on me. My initial impression of him had been right. He is sort of a prick. And he has an… overwhelming presence.
I let out a deep sigh as I got outside and waited for a cab to drive by. Mameha won't like how this meeting went. Not at all. She may even be a little disappointed I didn't go for the title. But I know she will understand my reasoning.
I think I just put more on my already full plate. I'm going to need to work extra hard to get another shot at a title. I waved a cab down then and hopped inside giving the driver directions to me and Mameha's apartment.
I then began to silently devise a plan to set myself apart from every other person on the roster. A plan to earn my place amongst the best Carnage had to offer.
The Dragon Lady entered the CW ring and sat down in the same chair she had used while making her challenge to Alex. She sits in the middle of the ring. The lights are put out before the camera starts rolling.
Once the cameraman does a countdown which she can barely see. Red lights turn on around the ring framing The Dragon lady in a most eerie way.
"Alex Winter. I need to explain myself more. I need to explain exactly why I challenged you." She looks away from the screen for a moment and then looks back.
"You disgust me. You have put yourself on some high pedestal, acting like you are the best of the best and your shit doesn't stink. Let me tell ya. I can smell you from a mile away."
"And I want to prove to everyone that you're nothing more than that pile of stink. I seriously could not believe my eyes when I saw you pull out handcuffs from that crown royal bag."
"You won that match not because you were smart or trying to be tactful. You won simply because you handcuffed your opponent. You made it to where your opponent literally could not fight back."
"You know what I smell?" She inhaled loudly lifting her head up as she did so. "More bullcrap. You talk a big game, but you can't even fight fair. And I need you to understand. I am not wanting to fight you because I'm trying to help Steve Matthew's feel better. Steve Matthew's is a big boy and can handle his own beef with you."
"I am fighting you for the plain and simple fact that I can smell that disgusting odor of coward. I want to beat your ass because you deserve it. I want to beat your ass because you're a slime ball."
The Dragon Lady stands and stares down into the camera. "I want you to be aware of something after our match. Deathly aware. That at night when you are sitting in your no doubt fancy silk pajamas sipping fancy bourbon, and you hear a knock on your door"
The Dragon lady lightly knocked on the camera lens. "That you know, The Dragon Lady has come to make you beg for mercy. She has come to end you. I'll be the one in your nightmares. Still knocking. And guess what? You can run... I don't mind…" she shook her head. "You have lots to answer for."
She stepped back from the camera then as her entrance theme song began to play. She stood there with her arms slightly outstretched at her sides. The red lights all around her made her look like the nightmares she said she would see him in.
youtu.be/JxDzNSinu-UThe Dragon Lady stood there… on her hands. She held herself up in a handstand. Her eyes are closed as she focused on not moving a muscle but staying still. Her endurance is being tested.
As the rain poured down around her, she shifted weight between her hands making water move about like ripples as her hands are submerged in a puddle. She is outside in the alley behind her and Mameha's apartment.
The sky lit up showing The Dragon Lady was not alone. Mameha was there standing a few feet away with her hands on her hips. Her long hair is wet from the rain and clings to the side of her face. She is pacing. A most serious look on her face.
She continues pacing kicking water in front of her as she did so. Her kimono she wore is drenched. She looked as determined as The Dragon Lady was enduring the storm that was never ending here in Baltimore.
Mameha began speaking then. Loud so her voice can be heard over the rumbling sky and rain that filled the two women's ears. "Agony and peace live side by side. One cannot exist without the other. Peace comes from enduring that agony. Your fingers will bleed. Your mind and body will be tested beyond anything you have ever known. You must have faith. That after the agony, you will be someplace much better."
"Now move." Mameha said. The Dragon Lady's eyes opened, and she began walking slowly on her hands towards Mameha who now began slowly walking backwards. The Dragon Lady is expected to move on her hands the distance Mameha walks.
"Endure the agony. And know. The agony you feel is a temporary thing. Keep going. A little more."
Everything began to hurt and feel numb at the same time. I kept moving like Mameha said. Through the pain, through the pouring rain to my finish line. My thoughts are on Alex Winter. My thoughts are on C$J. My thoughts are about standing apart from the masses.
When I saw Mameha's feet a few inches away. I let myself drop, sending water splashing in all directions. I'm out of breath, but that adrenaline has me feeling like I can do just about anything right now.
I stared up through the rain that is coming down sounding more like hail at this point. Mameha nodded her head satisfied looking down at me, and then said, "Feel better?"
The Dragon Lady nodded out of breath feeling accomplished. Then got to her feet slowly. The two ladies hooked arms then, their clothes soaking wet, and walk through that storm. Both women knowing, the storm is but an obstacle they would get through together.

Alex Winter’s Castle (Residence)
Beverly Hills, California
August 22nd 2020
The setting is at Alex Winter’s Castle, well it isn’t a castle but it may as well be the size of it, and him believing he is above everyone. At the We Are Relentless PPV show, Alex had beaten Steve Matthews in an I Quit match. It wasn’t easy, even if Alex says it was or bragged about it being that way. Steve Matthews put up a fight, just not good enough, after all he did lose.
Anyway, Alex was feeling the after effects of the match with Steve Matthews. He was laying on the couch, rather annoyed at Steve Matthews for busting his lip. Laying there, Alex was thinking of whether to ask Nadia Adair to come over or not. In the end he just sends her a tweet on Twitter.
*@NadiaAdair Fancy coming to tend to my wounds and making me feel better? *
That's what he’d tweeted her hoping he wouldn’t have to wait long for a reply, and he was right, after five minutes he’d got a reply.
*@TheWinterEra I suppose I could lend my first aid services and help you heal. You did go on and do what you kept saying you would. Just no blabbing on about these jokers you have to deal with at your job this time. I will allow a couple minutes of boasting though.*
He starts to laugh but it’s short lived as it hurt him too much. Two minutes later, once Alex had managed to get as comfortable as he could he replies.
*@NadiaAdair You got yourself a deal if I get five minutes of boasting.*
Alex was always one to push his luck with Nadia, but she always gave as good as she got as she replied with sarcasm two minutes later.
*@TheWinterEra Five minutes to you is five years for me, but fine I guess you earned it. I’ll be there in about an hour as usual.*
Once again Alex laughed only to again be in pain. He was certain she knew he’d laugh and it’d hurt him, that’s probably why she replied what she did.
============
It was just over an hour later at Alex Winter’s Castle, he was still laying on the couch. He hadn’t even bothered getting changed as he was laid on the couch in just a pair of blue gym shorts. Looking at his phone, he was sighing at the fact it was just over an hour and she wasn’t there yet.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
“Who is it?” Alex called out from the couch wincing in pain as he did.
“Are you serious? Unless you were expecting someone else, you know who this is. Now come and let me in.” Though the female voice on the other end started stern, it softened towards the end.
“Just making sure it was you. Don’t be mean to me, I’m in here suffering I’ll have you know. The door is open so just come in and hopefully you’ve brought that pretty smile with you.” Although he tries to hide the emotion, he is happy she is finally here.
Following his words, the door slowly opened and in walked Nadia. Dressed somewhat casually in a pair of jean short shorts and a pink halter top, she locks the door behind her and approaches Alex with a seemingly displeased expression. “Can’t even open the door for a lady, shame, shame. I guess you got pretty messed up huh?” Even with her somewhat harsh tone, it was easy to see behind it there was genuine concern.
“I swear you enjoy being mean to me as much as I do to others you know. You may well be a lady, but right now I’m broken and need mending. I’ll make it up to you, I promise. So where’s that pretty smile gone?” He tried to hide the extent of the pain as he managed to get to a sitting up position and grabbed his blue vest. He struggles to put it on but he manages giving Nadia a smile to try hide his pain.
Despite her reservations and worried state, Nadia manages a smile. “There you go. If you’re wondering where it was for a while, I think you left it in the ring along with most of your senses. Do you really think I can’t see through this? You don’t have to act all tough, I’m not a camera.” Shaking her head, Nadia then takes a seat next to Alex, looking at him worriedly.
Leaning over, Alex kissed Nadia on the forehead followed by a genuine smile. “Thank you for being here. You know I have to be tough, I can’t allow my weaknesses to show.” He could tell she was worried and that made him feel a little guilty. “At least Nurse Nadia is here so I’m going to be just fine. Can I brag about my match now?” That trademark smirk of Alex’s appears on his face.
“I figured you couldn’t go long without getting started on that. Fine, fine. Just don’t go over the five minutes.” Nadia couldn’t help but giggle. While she acts like she finds his wrestling spiels annoying, she found some humor in them. That and she also knew it made him happy, so she felt the same as a result.
“As you can tell I took a beating but if you saw Steve Matthews during and after the match, he is worse. Someone took offence to me handcuffing him in the ring and challenged me to a match. She even has a silly name, The Dragon Lady.” Alex stops enough to laugh, once again wincing in pain. “I literally beat Steve Matthews unconscious, he may have been handcuffed but nothing in the rules said I couldn’t do that. Rules, as if I’d follow them anyway, but yeah, Steve Matthews didn’t physically say I Quit but his body definitely did. How awesome am I though? Beating a man unconscious with these?” Alex grinned holding up both of his fists.
“You’re phenomenal.” Nadia jokingly rolled her eyes but offered a smile after. “Seriously though, what parts I was able to see you did great. Now I don’t know what the hell a dragon lady is but I’m sure things will turn out the same way like your last match. Hopefully the minus you getting beat up too part. Did you wish to continue or am I spared?” Another giggle escaped from Nadia.
“Good job you are cute.” Alex shook his head as he smiled. “You are lucky I’m hurt or you’d pay for that sarcasm. Anyway, there is more so I must continue. I even smashed him with a lead pipe in the back of the head. I didn’t realize how fun it was to get so violent, maybe I should be that violent more often. What do you think?”
Nadia stuck her tongue out playfully for a second. “Okay, I may be taking advantage of your current condition and playing a bit.” Her cheerful expression was quick to change. “With the whole violence thing, I’m all for being supportive of what you want to do. It’s the whole it happening to you part that doesn’t sit well with me. I get that it is part of what you do but still..” Nadia stopped herself before she said any more, not wanting to show the extent of her multi-layered concern.
Alex had picked up on her concern. “Nadia you beautiful lady, you have no reason to worry about me. I’ll try and make sure it doesn’t happen again but that’s something I can’t promise. What I can promise you is, I’ll always be here for you and care so much about…” Before he could finish, Alex’s barrier blocks him from carrying on the show of emotion. “So, how long do I have left to brag? After all, I’m the King of the Castle.”
Noticing that he stopped himself too caused Nadia to sigh. “Right...you only used up about a minute or two. Look, how about this, forget the time limit. I want you to be able to express yourself as much as you want, even if it’s in this way.” Following her words, Nadia slightly turned herself away.
Noticing Nadia had slightly turned away, Alex frowns a little. “I think a certain pretty lady needs a hug don’t you?” His tone was sincere.
“Maybe. I just don’t want you to strain yourself too much.” Though she was having difficulty suppressing her emotion, she managed another smile, reassuring in nature as she turned back a little but not fully.
“I’d over strain myself for you any day, you are my favorite lady ever, in fact, favorite person ever in the world. Come here for that hug.” Alex showed his emotional side as he gently pulled her in for the hug.
Nadia smiled as she was hugged, bringing herself a bit closer so he didn’t have to strain so much. She fought herself a moment before deciding to speak. “I’m glad I’m your favorite, I mean I better be considering I’m always here for you.” A short chuckle followed. “Seriously though, I’m glad. You’re kind of mine too in case you didn’t know.”
Smiling from ear to ear, Alex held her close and kissed her on the forehead again. “I’m glad I’m your favorite too. Be a bit awkward if it was one sided.” He chuckled. “I enjoy spending time with you, I like admiring myself but admiring you is better.”
“Wow. You actually like admiring me more? I think that’s one of the sweetest things you’ve said to me. I guess I’m growing on you after all. Well just know now that since I’m not going anywhere you’ll need to find ways to show me that’s true.” Nadia couldn’t help smiling again, now showing a similar one to when he convinced her to see him for the first time.
Alex didn’t know if it was the pain or the fact he was so comfortable around Nadia, but he was feeling emotions he’d always managed to block out. “How about I show you one way right now?” Nadia didn’t get the chance to answer as Alex cupped her face, turning her to face him as he smiled and kissed her on the lips with such passion.

The Dragon Slayer
============
Smart and tailored suit, shoes so shiny you could see your reflection in them and a trademark smirk that anyone would be happy to knock off someone’s face. That could only be one person, that’s right, “Carnage Wrestling’s Resident Bastard” Alex Winter. He was standing there in what seemed to be an empty room. All that could be seen was obviously Alex Winter and what we can assume to be five pictures on a wall, each individually covered over. Other than that, the only other thing in the room was a massive throne looking chair.
“I’m guessing you’d all like to know what pictures are underneath their individual covers?” Alex raised an eyebrow. “We will get to that in due time, but for now I want to talk about what went on at WAR.” That sickening smirk graces his face. “I didn’t get off lightly but don’t get me wrong, but I outsmarted Steve Matthews and that was without having to use his weakness I mentioned. Guess I better save that weakness for when I feel like destroying Matthews even more than I already have.”
Pausing for a moment, Alex can’t help but grin thinking about what he did to Steve Matthews.
“Seems someone was rather upset with what I did to Steve Matthews but it was his fault. He was dumb enough to give me what I wanted, just like this person was dumb enough to challenge me. This person in question The Dragon Lady, I’m guessing at the time of the challenge she thought it was a good idea. Steve Matthews thought it was a good idea to challenge me and look where that got him. Dragon Lady, listen and listen carefully, you still have time to just walk out and lay down. I promise you it’s better for your health and wellbeing if you do just that. Something tells me though, that just like Matthews you are not clever enough to just take my word for it. So I’m just going to have to once again show you, like I showed everyone else, I’m capable of more than you’ll ever know. WAR was just the beginning and it seems that you were so kind to sacrifice yourself next for the greater cause… ME!!!”
He was such a smug bastard and he knew full well he was too. Walking over to the first picture on the wall, Alex removes the cover.
“Speaking of which, first up we have Apollo who was more than just a man, but a God altogether. I thought it was best to start with one of the most famous and favored of the Olympians. Apollo was the god of light and the sun, truth and prophecy, healing, plague, music, poetry, etc, etc. Not sure if anyone knew, but he was also known as Apollo, The Dragon Slayer.”
Walking over to the second picture, Alex pulls the cover off that one too.
“Next up we have another dragon slayer, Cadmus, a Phoenician prince. Cadmus introduced the alphabet to Greece around about two thousand B.C. Anyway, he was on a quest to find his sister Europa, anyway that doesn’t matter. What matters is that Cadmus ended up slaying a dragon too.”
Making his way to the third picture, he once again removes the cover.
“Jason, the one with a boring basic bitch name but nonetheless a dragon slayer in his own right. Jason was just like a comic book hero though, his team, the Argonauts, were a seafaring crew that included Heracles, Asclepius, Orpheus, and Atalanta, among dozens of others. Quite a powerful team if I do say so myself but they’re not me, I wouldn’t need a team like that, just my left and right hands, just ask Steve Matthews.”
Now having made his way to the fourth picture he uncovers that one too.
“Now we have Perseus, the legendary founder of Mycenae and of the Perseid dynasty of Danaans. In fact, Perseus’ deeds were so grand that they went on to provide the founding myths of the Twelve Olympians, a first of the heroes of Greek mythology. Perseus is definitely my favorite because of his conquests, one of the most memorable is the beheading of Medusa, the snake haired gorgon, with the aid of Athena’s polished shield. It’s definitely far too extreme for me to be doing anything like that but it’s still pretty cool to be fair.”
There was only one picture remaining, Alex walks over to it and pulls the cover off of it.
“Last but by no means least is Heracles, the most accomplished of the Greek dragon slayers. He strangled his first snake when he was still just a baby in the cradle. Exhibiting strength, courage and ingenuity, he is considered the greatest of the Greek heroes, especially by the many Roman emperors who came to identify with him. In an interesting relationship to Jason’s and Perseus’ story, Heracles was instructed for his tenth labor to capture the golden haired cattle of the triple-headed Geryon. Geryon was the son of Chryasaor, who, like his grandmother Medusa, lived on an island at the far edge of the western sea.”
Once Alex has finished, he makes his way over to his massive throne looking chair and makes himself comfortable.
“It’s amazing what a bit of researching can do isn’t it? Seems some like to tell stories, some like to use comedy but me, I like to tell it how it is. You see on the wall behind me are five amazing Dragon Slayers. After Carnage on that wall will be six amazing Dragon Slayers, the only difference being I can slay more than just dragons. I slayed Steve Matthews at WAR, and at Carnage I’m going to add The Dragon Lady to that list. Once I post my picture on that wall, underneath it’ll say “The Greatest Dragon Slayer of All Time” Alex Winter.
I’ve seen people like you before Dragon Lady. You come in, lose a match and then try to make your name off someone so clearly out of your league, so not surprised you challenged me. It’s fine though because I’m going to enjoy every moment of slaying you in that ring, whether it be pounding your face with my fists, or breaking your bones with my submissions. Just know that I’m going to enjoy every moment of making you suffer, and once it’s all said and done, you’ll just be known as another statistic in my win column.”
Alex cracks his neck side to side before following it up by cracking his knuckles.
“Dragon Lady, I know it pissed you off what I did to Steve Matthews, I wonder how much you’ll be pissed off if I brought out the handcuffs to the ring for you, what do you think?” Alex just grins. “On second thoughts I better not, you’ll think I’m even more of a coward.” Alex can’t contain himself as laughter echoes around the room. “I was only laughing because your opinion is the same as everyone else's who hates me, irrelevant to me. If you are not standing with me, you are standing against me and that’s definitely not something you want. So I’ll see you at Carnage, where Alex Winter becomes the most awesome Dragon Slayer. ever”
The camera slowly fades out purely focused on the smugness coming from Alex Winter, still with that smirk on his face that just makes you want to punch him in the face.

Making A Deal With The Devil
============
“Sometimes a deal with the devil is better than no deal at all.” - Lawrence Hill
Alex Winter wasn’t someone who was a fan of waiting, to be honest the only thing he probably was a fan of was himself. Dressed in a pair of white shorts and a white vest, Alex was lounging on his sun lounger at his Beverly Hills home and looking out at such an amazing view. It was so peaceful and usually relaxing but Alex was waiting for a call, and clearly wasn’t relaxed because he hated waiting.
“Last time they called I was busy, I do hope they call again like the text said.” Alex says in a frustrated tone.
They say the first sign of madness is talking to yourself, the second is usually answering yourself back, but Alex isn’t that crazy, yet. He grabs his phone from his shorts pocket and looks at it and sees that the text was sent about an hour ago. Placing it back in his pocket, he gets to his feet and starts pacing up and down.
“King Alex, you are going to wear that floor out pacing up and down.” Says the voice of a male.
“Just like I’d wear your mom out. Now go away and clean my cars like I told you too Max.” Alex manages a grin as Max does as he is ordered.
It was clear to see that Alex had a very high opinion of himself, especially since he clearly ordered Max to address him as King Alex. Alex decides to go back to lounging on his sun lounger. As he does, he makes sure to get comfortable after grabbing his phone from his shorts pocket. It’s just then that the phone rings, but we weren’t lucky enough to see who it was that was ringing him.
“Thought you’d never call, glad you did though, we have a lot to talk about.” Alex says as he answers the phone, kind of relieved he’d finally got the call.
There was talking back and forth between Alex Winter and whoever else was on the phone. Could barely make out what most of the stuff Alex was saying and definitely couldn’t hear the other person on the phone. That’s just what adds to the mystery of who it was on the phone and maybe we’d find out or maybe we wouldn’t.
“I’ll be seeing you before my match at Carnage with my decision on if I’ll accept a deal with the Devil.” Alex ends the call.
We managed to hear the start and the end of the call but I guess it was just unlucky that we didn’t get to hear the juicy gossip in between. Guess we'll just have to wait until Carnage before Alex’s match against The Dragon Lady to find out who was on the phone.
Sliding his phone back into his shorts pocket, Alex smirks before checking himself out in the glass of the sliding door of his home.
“Damn I’m so hot.” Alex smugly said.
Laughing, Alex runs his hand through his hair before striking a few poses in the glass of the sliding door. Once he was done admiring himself and striking his poses, Alex heads back into his humble abode.
